Simple Natural Tips for Menstrual Pain Relief Are Finally Here.

Simple Natural Tips for Menstrual Pain Relief Are Finally Here.No woman likes the monthly cramps their sentenced to. They come at the worst time and have a way about slowing your day and keeping you parked on the couch. All you want is relief and to get back to your life. But you have the right to find relief faster and without the extra drugs. Not all women are aware of how much power they have over their body’s health and wellness. We’re here to educate you, because you deserve it.
At Eurospa, we are dedicated to increasing your quality of life and health. We have compiled a small yet helpful list of natural home remedies to ease that pesky menstrual pain.

It’s time to get the relief you’re looking for, naturally and in the comfort of your own home.

Reduce Your Caffeine.  Everybody is different and sometimes a warm cup of coffee does just the trick. But it’s important to know that too much caffeine is incredibly dehydrating to your body, causing circulation to slow and pain to rist. Caffeine constricts your blood levels and raises tension: so when you’re suffering from cramps, it’s wiser to do everything possible to stay hydrated. Drinking water and herbal tea instead will not only keep your flow hydrated, but will also help relieve bloating that may occur during your period. For a caffeine free energy boost, try these tips!

Use Heat. Run a hot shower. Let the steam add up.  While you're at it, spray some of Eurospa's Eucalyptus Shower Spray into the steam.  The cleansing nature of the oil will be heightened in the stream and permeate your bronchial passages, resulting in relaxation and a further detoxified system.   Make sure that while you allow the hot water to really fall on your lower back.  This will relax those aching muscles and give you the chance to, at the same time, massage your lower belly which actually makes the process of 'release' more efficient!  Who wouldn't want that? Feel free to soak in the tub when you’re ready! If you don’t have the time or energy for the hot shower. That’s fine. Get a hot water bottle or heating pad. They may seem old-fashioned, but they really, truly help warm and relax the muscles in your lower abdomen. They are an affordable and worthy investment that will bring you relief month after month.  The heat relaxes the tension around your pain and helps the flow move more fluidly. If heat overwhelms you, use the oil combination mentioned below!

Massage. Once the area has been warmed, this is a great time for some gentle massage. Grab some cooling massage oil, if you can. You can make your own with a blend of peppermint, ginger, lavender and fractionated coconut oil.  Lavender will relax and calm you, the cinnamon aids in circulation (bringing comfort) and the peppermint with ginger is actually a very good topical anti-inflammatory.  I did this step recently and slept so much better that night.

You may not find your menstrual pain disappearing all together, but you will feel more alive and able to function more comfortably and happily, without the extra drugs!

At Eurospa, we enjoy bringing more quality to your life!  Stop by and see what we can do to better your health and daily living!

Stop the Pain and Learn the Secret to Getting Rid of Your Sinus Infection Fast and Naturally

Stop the Pain and Learn the Secret to Getting Rid of Your Sinus Infection Fast and NaturallyIf you're used to getting sinus problems, I want to share a solution with you.
Sinus problems hurt, happen inconveniently and leave you feeling frustrated and desperate for anything that works.
A solution? Eucalyptus oil. In particular, using eucalyptus in the home shower or in a steam room, regularly will help not only the immediate symptoms, but also the condition on a long term basis.
Eucalyptus oil is a steam distilled from the eucalyptus tree.  The oil is taken from the tree’s leaves and extracted for medicinal, pharmaceutical, repellent, flavorings, fragrance, antiseptic and other uses.  Eucalyptus trees and bushes grow in South Africa, Portugal, Spain , Brazil, Australia, Chile, and Swaziland.
Eucalyptus is high in an oxide 1,8-cineol (or eucalyptol).  Oxides are basically a compound that has oxygen (technical wording: “a binary compound of an element or a radical with oxygen”).  Cineol is the most prevalent of the oxides . This means that eucalyptus is great as an anesthetic (loss of sensation), antiseptic (reduce the possibility of infection), as well as a strong mucolytic (gets rid of mucus).  It thins the mucus in the respiratory tract infections - making it a miracle worker for sinus problems!
Eucalyptus is analgesic, antibacterial, anticatarrhal, anti-infectious, anti-inflamatory, antiviral, insecticidal, and expectorant.  This means that eucalyptus may help with acne, bronchitis, ear inflammation, flu, hay fever, high blood pressure, nasal problems such as sinus infections, coughs, congestions, vaginitis as well as insect repellent.
The benefits are extensive, making the choice to keep it in your home, a positive one! So stop feeling hopeless and know there you can in fact, feel better! See for yourself, with Eurospa's Eucalyptus shower spray and other health improving products!

Kick Your Cold Sore / Herpes Blister FAST with These Natural Home Remedies!

Oral herpes are so common at this point that statistics say around 80% - 90% of the population at least has been in contact with the herpes virus. So it's only fair that those of us with natural solutions in our toolbox, would be excited to share just how to kick your cold sores faster and get on with your life!

FOOD
Kick Your Cold Sore / Herpes Blister FAST with These Natural Home Remedies! For starters, if you are prone to cold sores, cut down on nuts. Cold sores (herpes) are sensitive to the amino acid, arginine, which nuts have high amounts of. The opposite of arginine, is the amino acid, Lysine. Look familiar?

SUPPLEMENTS
Lysine is a really useful preventative and symptomatic tool to fight the sores. Taken on a regular basis, lysine helps to defend your weaker cells against susceptibility to the viruses response.

ICE
For immediate relief, apply an ice cube to the sore. This will bring down the swelling and reduce the redness. Repeat as needed.

ESSENTIAL OILS
There are some great essential oils that are able to help both prevent and heal the herpes cold sores.
  • Oregano - Studies have show that this powerful plant has been able to at least cause the virus to go dormant. Some argue that the virus has even been eliminated from the body, but we can't be so sure. If you'd like to try this remedy, you'll simply need to get a carrier oil such as coconut or jojoba oil and place a few drops of the oil on your lower spine and massage it in. Do this twice per day. The oil is said to penetrate into the vertabrae, where the virus hides, and destroy it.  (Oregano is a hot oil, and caution is to be taken, as to not get it in your eyes or on the skin without dilution.)
  • Peppermint & Lemon - Used as a treatment, when the cold sore arrives, put a small drop of each oil on the location. Repeat as desired. Cold sores are a hot / wet virus, which means it will be healed by drying and cooling remedies, which lemon and peppermint are. Many people say Tea Tree or Melaleuca are good, but on the contrary, they are hot oils and are more likely to aggravate the condition.
  • Eucalyptus - I love this remedy because it feels so good. In the shower, spray eucalyptus oil shower spray into the steam.  Eucalyptus is a powerful antiseptic and is particularly good at destroying viruses. Another way to do it is to spray it on a cotton ball and apply it directly to the sore. *For genital herpes, use the cotton ball method as well, with a carrier oil applied first*
Herpes is not an easy condition to live with, but can be managed with the above and many other natural tips.

Eurospa is always researching new healing uses for eucalyptus oil and ways to share them with our clients. We strive to create healthier homes and spas with our high quality products and hope that you will contact us today!

Heal Sinusitis Fast with this Trusted Natural Home Remedy!

Heal Sinusitis Fast with this Trusted Natural Home Remedy!People that suffer from sinusitis know that the congestion, head aches and fatigue that

come with it are no small hindrance to life quality.  Over the counter medications are a gamble as many of them have such a strong anti-histamine that often, the only result is one of overly drowsy and cloudy head. So, if I tell you that there is a way to heal sinusitis fast, with a trusted natural home remedy, your ears are sure to perk up.

Heal the problem, don't just cover up the problem!  But before we go into the remedy, let's understand the condition.

Sinusitis is a common upper respiratory condition marked by swelling and overproduction of mucus in one or more sinuses. Typical symptoms of sinusitis include nasal stuffiness and pressure and pain in the head, especially with motion or when bending forward. Sinusitis can be caused by allergy, or bacterial or viral infection. Treatment typically includes antihistamines, decongestants, and antibiotics. Though frequently prescribed, antibiotics are not effective against viral sinusitis.

Eucalyptus has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and decongestant properties, and has been used traditionally to treat asthma, nasal congestion, runny nose, cough, sore throat, and sinusitis. The oil from eucalyptus is antibacterial, anti fungal, and antiviral, and has been used topically to treat skin and dental infections, and to prevent cavities. Medicinal herbs containing what are known as “volatile” oils have strong and distinctive aromas; these herbs and their oils are generally antiseptic, relaxing to muscles and nerves, and decongest the mucous membranes.

Heal Sinusitis Fast with this Trusted Natural Home Remedy!Getting back to your relief, here are the top two ways by which you can take advantage of the therapeutic properties of eucalyptus oil for treating sinusitis and it's related symptoms:

Steam Inhalation
This is definitely the most popular method that relieves sinus inflammation, clears nasal congestion and soothes respiratory blockages as well. For doing this, you need to fill a small tub or a large bowl to about 3/4th of its capacity with hot water. Next, add some eucalyptus oil, either a few drops or a few sprays of Eucalyptus Shower Mist, to the water. Now, bow your head above the tub/pot of fragrant water and drape a towel over your head to create a smaller space for the steam to be trapped in near your face. Keep your mouth closed and breathe in deep so that the eucalyptus essence-laden steam reaches deep inside the nose and the upper respiratory tract. This method is very effective in providing relief from inflammation of the sinuses and blood vessels inside the nasal cavity, soothing nasal congestion and sinus headache.

Dilution and Application
This method is a more direct way of using eucalyptus oil for sinus headache and facial discomfort caused by inflamed sinuses. Simply dilute the eucalyptus with a carrier oil such as olive or coconut oil. Once diluted, it can be applied directly to the aching and congested areas without risking any kind of skin irritation or rashes. This method is great for treating sinusitis in people who have sensitive skin but don't have enough time to go through the steam inhalation method.
Don't let sinusitis get you down.  You can get relief without the toxic risks associated with over the counter medications.  At Eurospa, your health is our priority.  Stop by today to check out the other ways we are committed to giving you the best life quality possible!

Fight Back-to-School Germs With This Home Remedy List

Fight Back to School Germs With This Home Remedy ListIt's back-to-school time and for most parents, that means germs, colds and sick days!  It doesn't have to
be that way though.  In addition to time tested habits like hand washing and covering your coughs and sneezes, we have some simple tricks to share with you on how to fight back-to-school germs with this easy home remedy list. We know you are too busy to be dragged down by sickness, so be sure to heed these helpful tips!

Vitamin D.
If your child isn’t getting enough of this vitamin through food sources, you can consider any number of vitamin D3 supplements which contribute to bone health by creating optimum conditions for bone formation, in addition to supporting proper function of the immune and nervous systems.* For younger children, liquid D is a great option as it can be dropped right on the tongue or mixed in with foods or beverages.
Aloe Vera
The aloe vera plant contains over 200 biologically active components, and has been used for centuries in folk natural medicine and as a product ingredient. Its constituents are used in many forms, including it's juice which enhances healthy immune function, digestion and gums. It's incredibly detoxifying but the flavor can be strong to some. If adding it to food, you may want to try an already strong flavor combination like apple, mango and banana.
In topical form, it’s often used for soothing skin and is even a common  ingredient in hand sanitizers. Having it on hand means that, in addition to using it on its own, you can make your own customized version.
Lavender oil
Essential oils not only scent your hand sanitizers, but also add increased amounts of antibacterial properties! One of the most versatile plant essential oils, lavender’s name is derived from the Latin word “lavera,” which means to wash. It’s both gentle and effective in balancing the skin, and has a soothing and calming effect. You need only add a tiny amount to your recipe.
Eucalyptus Oil
Eucalyptus oil is also a great option. Steam distilled from the leaves of the Eucalyptus plant, this oil is known for its cooling, soothing effects. As well, it's anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory, not only killing germs but can be used symptomatically as well.  Use this shower mist both to clean surfaces of germs and bacteria and in the shower to open bronchial passages and clear the sinuses!
Peppermint Oil
Peppermint, like Eucalyptus, contains menthol and menthone, as well as rosmarinic acid and flavonoids such as hesperidin and luteolin. Again, a little essential oil goes a long way. Steam distill this or make a tea.  The effects are cooling, soothing and will help those stuffy noses feel much lighter and clearer!

Your health is our priority at Eurospa.  We hope you find these tips helpful and would love to hear from you.  Let us know how we can make your life even better!

Fast Natural Pain Relief for the Evil Cramps that Attack During Your Period.

Fast Natural Pain Relief for the Evil Cramps that Attack During Your Period.
The cramps that accompany getting your period can put a real damper on your day and plans.

So it's no surprise that when that time of the month rolls around, women sometimes feel the need to wear a neon sign that reads, 'approach with caution'.

Women have a super power of being able to be in pain and get on with life anyway.

But do you know how to relieve the pain naturally without heading straight for the pain meds?  Not many women do but it would make things much healthier in the end if they did.

The truth is, women's reproductive systems and overall health are requesting (begging) for a better way.

So, I have compiled a small yet helpful list of natural home remedies to ease that pesky menstrual pain.

Hot shower.

Not just any hot shower.  Turn up the heat as much as you can stand it.

Massage.

Just as mentioned above, you can also do a similar massage while laying down.  I suggest getting some massage oil.  A warming oil would be great, but if you only have a regular base, try adding some other essential oils like lavender, eucalyptus and cinnamon to the massage.  Lavender will relax and calm you, the cinnamon aids in circulation (bringing comfort) and the eucalyptus is actually a very good topical anti-inflammatory.  I did this step recently and slept so much better that night.

Hot Water Bottles.

Yep, I mean the same kind you may (or may not) remember your grandparents using for their back pain. They may seem old-fashioned, but they really, truly help warm and relax the muscles in your lower abdomen. They are an affordable and worthy investment that will bring you relief month after month.  GO get one.

Just Say NO to Caffeine.
Don't freak out... I know it’s an intimidating thought, but eliminating caffeine from your diet could help alleviate a large amount of menstrual pain. Caffeine constricts your blood levels and raises tension: so when you’re suffering from cramps, you want to get the opposite happening. Additionally, caffeine dehydrates you, causing the cleanse to be a slower process. Drinking water and herbal tea instead will not only keep your flow hydrated, but will also help relieve bloating that may occur during your period.

I'm not saying this will make your reproductive pain disappear all together, but I do believe you will feel more alive and able to function more comfortably and happily.

It's a part of life, but it doesn't need to control you.

Get Glamorously Beautiful and Enjoy Rejuvenating Health with Menthol Crystals!

Menthol Crystals are being talked about more and more these days, but do you really know what they are and how they will benefit you? Originally known as Japanese Mint, the herb was exported out of Japan and into India. Currently grown in northern India, the leaves of this incredible herb contain 70 percent menthol, releasing a powerfully pleasant aroma of mint. The crystals offer the world many ways and applications to take advantage of it's wonderfully healing nature.

Let's look at a some more information and ways that you can invite this plant's power into your own life, health and home.

Description

get glamorously beautiful and enjoy rejuvenating health with menthol crystals from Eurospa Aromatics!A natural product, menthol crystals  contain and release a cool and refreshing smell of mint. Derived from the extraction of oil from mint, menthol is an herbal compound, formerly known as peppermint camphor. The crystals work well in any product requiring a strong flavor or aroma, with the added bonus of it's ability to relieve pain and soothe the body.

Uses in Health and Beauty:

Menthol's crystals are added to other great ingredients used in cosmetics, creams, toothpaste, dental rinses, cough drops and even shampoos. (Click here for more beautiful skin tips at home!) Because of it's analgesic properties, menthol crystals can relieve body aches and soothe muscle pains.  On a more precise and symptomatic level, the essence of menthol can clear up coughing and breathing problems. Simply place a few crystals in the steam of your shower or steam room and inhale the vapors to clear your sinuses. Rub the crystals along the shower walls and the steam will release menthol while you rejuvenate in the shower. With the combination of the heat and menthol  your sinuses will open, your body aches will be relaxed and throat pain will be soothed. Menthol crystals will also dissolve in alcohol and oil, allowing their strong smell to make them a desirable product for home fragrances and perfumes.

For Use In the Home:

When using menthol crystals at home to prepare various products like a salve or fragrance, always wear a mask. Avoid placing your head directly over the bowl or other container containing the crystals. The smell of 100 per cent menthol crystals is very powerful. Menthol crystals are soluble in alcohol and oils like olive oil but not in water. They melt around 107 degrees Fahrenheit. Ratios of 5 to 20 per cent menthol are common but for home use start with a low percentage until you develop a feel for the potency of the crystals and your own tolerance.

For Topical Use:
Menthol crystals can be used topically to soothe sore and stiff muscles, but make sure they are diluted with a carrier oil such as olive, coconut or jojoba oil.  Rub the crystals in the carrier, over the area of the skin where the muscles are sore.  The first sensation that you'll feel will be an icy cooling, followed by numbness and partial incapacity of muscle use. This occurs, as the menthol crystals stimulate the nerve endings in the skin, creating that cold and numbing sensation.

Eucalyptus: The Remedy Your Cough Is Begging For!

I don't know about you, but I have seen far to many coughs and respiratory infections these days and it's time we start talking about ways to cure this beast at home - and FAST.

The cold season can be feisty one, wreaking havoc in homes all over. Now that spring is upon us, it is important, more than ever to nip this thing in the bud, so we all can go back to enjoying the return of the sunshine!

First of all - let's talk immune boosters.  Those pesky germs are likely to come around regardless, so it's best to remain prepared and ready to fight them off at all costs!

  • Up Your Greens!  Now, I understand that many people may wince at the very thought of this, but I'm here to say, "It's time to overcome your aversion!" Green foods have the highest amount of balanced proteins, vitamins and minerals of our diet.  Our white blood cells require their nutrients to function properly.
  • Hydrate! It's really hard for you to have too much water.  Every one of your cells require it and all of your organs as well.  More water means the viruses are more quickly and efficiently carried out of the body.
  • Sleep! Get enough of it.  Only you know how much you need.  Some people need 8 hours and others need less.  The point is to do what's best for your body.  What's best may not be convenient, but it sure is more convenient that being sick for two weeks.

If you're unlucky enough to have that viral visitor drop by, here are some safe and natural ways to get you feeling healthy again.

Coughs:  First of all, there are two main categories of herbs that are used in DIY home cough remedies: antitussives, meant for clearing the lungs of congestion and make coughing more productive and expectorants, meant for those dry, hacking cough to calm the reflex and act as a mild sedative.

I found this great recipe for herbal cough syrup from wellnessmama! (not affiliated, just passing on the pearls of wisdom)

*Homemade herbal cough syrup that soothes the throat to ease coughing and promote restful sleep.
