How To Stay Warm and Happy During Cold Gray Winters!

How To Stay Warm and Happy During Cold Gray Winters!Winter weather is exhausting. It’s tiring to feel cold all the time, be surrounded by grey clouds.  The chill damp nature of winter leaves our bones begging for sustainable warmth. You find yourself longing for the summer and time just seems to drag on. But if you can make life more beautiful in this season, it will pass faster and feel better.
So it seems to make sense to look to how other people around the world deal with these frigid seasons and then try their methods in our own days.

Limit your screen time
As a whole, our society forgets how important it is to rest our minds from  our screen addicted culture. (this I say, while writing from a computer of course) But the point remains.  We have a hard time turning off our screens.  We likely spend half our day in front of a computer, then go home to zone out on TV and internet programming. This over works our eyes and causes us to  be more tired and get poor sleep.

Less obligations
We tend to over 'yes' people and then find ourselves missing times of relaxation and needed stillness.   When we say 'no' appropriately, we remind others and ourselves of our personal value and the self respect that should go along with it.  You know what's going to benefit and drain you; it's ok to set those boundaries.

Go outside
I know it might be grey and cold outside, but fresh air is so necessary! Get out your rain or snow gear and feel alive.  Go for a hike, take a walk and move!  The old weather puts on our system is countered by the deep breathing and increased circulation in the fresh air.  I know it may be hard to get up the gusto, but it's worth it.  Love yourself enough to make it happen.

New ways to get warm
Heat therapy does wonders for the cold body.  Steam rooms and saunas offer a world of relief, relaxation and detoxification in this season of cold and flu.  In many European countries, it's the norm to have a sauna in your home or apartment building.  We haven't caught up as fast with that one, but it doesn't mean they are hard to find.   Usually your local gym and fitness center will have an option for you.  However, if this isn't an option, take a steam bath or shower at least twice a week to really sink some heat into your bones.  An added bonus?  Add some Eucalyptus Shower Spray to the steam and cleanse your bronchial passages.

Winter can be a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be miserable. Make the effort to care for yourself from the inside out - including your mind and practices. At Eurospa, we want to support your total health and are happy to answer any questions you might have about our high quality eucalyptus products.

Easy Natural Ways to Fill Your Home with Your Favorite Holiday Smells

Easy Natural Ways to Fill Your Home with Your Favorite Holiday SmellsOne thing that most people can agree on, when it comes to the Holidays, is the the smells are amazing. When you walk into a home and the holiday smells surround you, you’re instantly taken back to your favorite fall and winter memories! We say take advantage of that and enjoy it for all it’s worth! But definitely stay away from those toxic air fresheners and dangerous candles. Always choose the natural and safest options for you and your family to create that holiday atmosphere easily and naturally at home.

However, because you’re busy, we don’t want you to feel like you need to bake all day to make it happen! Instead, here are a few simple ways to cheat the process, to keep it easy, safe and just as delicious!

For starters, make your own simmering potpourri. It’s quick and easy:

In a small saucepan add:
  • 1 cut up or sliced orange
  • 3 cinnamon sticks, broken in half (releases the fragrance better than the powder)
  • 1 cup of fresh cranberries
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons cloves (whole or ground)
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons nutmeg
  • 2 – 3 sprigs of fresh rosemary
  • 1 – 2 teaspoons vanilla

Water to fill to about 1 inch below the rim. (You could also use apple juice or cider!) Place your pot on the stove and set it to simmer. Soon, your house will smell like the joyous season you love! And the bonus, is you can absolutely enjoy it as a tea! Just sweeten as needed!

Other Options Include:
Cinnamon: Place cinnamon sticks in little jars around the house. You can toss a couple cloves, rosemary and even sprigs of fir to the mix for an added fragrance boost. Tie a gold or scarlet ribbon around the jar and you’ll finish it off with style.

Clove: Diffuse clove oil in an essential oil diffuser.

Coffee: Keep small dishes of coffee beans near your doors and walkways to keep a feeling of warmth and freshness around.

Orange: As you use oranges in your meals, throw the peels in the garbage disposal for that citrus burst in the home. You can also add oil of orange to your diffuser with the clove for the balanced smells.

It’s easy to set the mood for the holidays with the natural smells of the holidays. It’s about combining sweet with spicy and warm. At Eurospa, we know the importance of fragrance; it’s our business. We make the highest quality Eucalyptus oil products available, because quality fragrances have a therapeutic power that heals, inspires and restores.

Always choose the best options for you and your family. Stay away from toxic room fresheners and create that holiday atmosphere easily and naturally at home.

Amazing Reviews for Eucalyptus Shower Spray from EuroSpa Keep Pouring In

Purchasing a product or service today couldn’t be more different than 50 years ago. Almost every shopping decision can include checking out reviews. And the potential review resources range from professional reviews from folks like consumer reports to experts, bloggers, and the mighty public. Personally, I rarely buy any new item or select any new restaurant without checking the reviews. I’ve even used reviews before going to doctors, dentists, and bike shops.

Any company selling a product today needs to be aware of reviews, as they can make or break the product. Moreover, paying attention to the reviews of the product and its competitors can help marketing departments make decisions about changes to the product, packaging, and event the instructions. Eurospa started shipping its first consumer product five years ago after selling eucalyptus oil commercially to hotels and spas all over the US for their steam rooms. The concept was to bring the health benefits and fragrances of the steam room into the home shower.

The product, EuroSpa Pure Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist has been a huge hit in spa gift shops and on Amazon. And, of course, the reviews have poured in. Recently we were excited to get a review from a blogger, UnboxingBeauty, who was actually reviewing a service provider where the Shower Spray was a bonus:

EuroSpa Pure Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist  This couldn’t have come at a better time!  Since the weather has been getting cooler here, the heat at my home, work and in my car has been turned on (and everywhere else).  With that, my sinuses start to get stuffy and especially when I wake up in the morning.  This 100% eucalyptus oil mist really helps open up my sinuses and clears the airways.  This is also great if you are sick and have a hard time breathing (just like Vicks!!)  I used this product this morning in the shower and it was very invigorating and really did help open up my nasal passages.  I think I will try spraying it around the bedroom before I go to sleep, to see if that also helps with my breathing.
This huge bottle has over 1,550 sprays so I am hoping this lasts me thru the winter ~ I read that the 2 oz version lasted someone . Euro Spa does not use solvents or isopropyl alcohol in their oils and  Eucalyptus oil “has some rather powerful effects on airborne bacteria, microbes, fungi, and other undesirable guests you may end up with in the atmosphere of what should be a healing and therapeutic place.”

I love the scent of eucalyptus, so this is a really nice product for me.  Give it a try ~ I bet you will enjoy the refreshing scent too and it really does wake you up ~ You just have to turn on your shower and then spray into your shower to get the full effect.  If you want to really have a spa experience, first spray your palms and rub them together briskly.  Then cup your hands together and breathe in deeply, but gently.  Before stepping into you running shower, spray into the stream and you can also spray above the shower head too. Enjoy the spa experience! Full Size 8 oz Value $29.95.

Of course, Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist Spray has dozens of reviews on When we first introduced the product, the spray unit was not holding up over time. We quickly changed the spray unit, and now virtually 100% of our reviews are 5-star. Here is one we particularly liked:

ByWhipon October 25, 2013

I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked in my home shower. After enjoying eucalyptus oil fragrance in the Ritz Carlton Kapalua steam room, I wanted to take some home with me and see how similar the experience was. A few spritzes into the steam at the beginning of the shower and several more during it made my shower a "spa experience!" I can highly recommend it!

But our best ever review came from a Mommy Blogger. We had paid 5 Minutes for Mom a small fee to do the review, but they were under no obligation to give the product a good review.

I am forty-one years old.
I shower every single morning.
That is a lot of showers. And I just realized recently that I have been doing it WRONG.
Okay, maybe not completely wrong. I start at the top and everything gets washed just fine.
But, two weeks ago, I sprayed EuroSpa Pure Eucalyptus Oil ShowerMist into the hot shower water before I stepped in, and my usual morning shower was totally transformed. It was like a shower conversion experience!
And now I am crazy obsessed with it.

How to Beat Sore Morning Muscles and Stiffness Naturally!

How to Beat Sore Morning Muscles and Stiffness Naturally! If your body wakes up sore and stiff in the morning, we want to talk to you. First of all, waking up with sore and stiff muscles should never be considered normal. If that’s normal for you, then your body is simply getting used to having a need not met. We at Eurospa, have a lot of experience helping people alleviate their pains and cold symptoms and today, we want to help you with your body stiffness naturally.

How? Well here are the top ways to beat morning muscle stiffness:

  1. Stretch: This is first tip because it’s so necessary. No matter how you eat and live, your muscles need to be stretched. Its best to stretch them before (once you’ve warmed up) and after each workout and before bed.
  2. Hydrate: Muscles need water. If the muscles are dehydrated they can’t function smoothly and will also cramp up.
  3. Calcium / Magnesium: This is a supplement you should definitely look into. Calcium with magnesium feeds the muscles with what they need to grow, contract well and relax. Take before bed to fall into a restful sleep and avoid sleep cramps.
  4. Limit Caffeine and Alcohol: Both are incredibly dehydrating to the muscles and both deplete your body of calcium and magnesium. If you do need to have one of the above, drink extra water and boost your vitamins and minerals.
  5. Heat and Eucalyptus: When eucalyptus essential oil is of a high quality and not processed or diluted, (like our pharmaceutical grade eucalyptus) it has anti-inflammatory and soothing properties that make it a great option when treating sore or over-exercised muscles. Eucalyptus oil can help relax stiff muscles, allowing for pain relief and ease in range of motion and muscle movement.  The best way to enjoy eucalyptus is in the steam of a shower or in the heat of the sauna.  Need tips on that? See below:

1. Add 3-5 drops of straight (neat) eucalyptus oil directly onto sore muscles. Slowly massage into skin. (It's a strong oil thought and it may be best to dilute with coconut oil first, until you know how your body responds)
2. Add 15-50 drops of eucalyptus oil to a hot bath. Combined with the benefits of the oil, the heat of the water encourages muscles to relax and helps reduce next-day stiffness. For additional benefits, Epsom salts can be added to the water as well.
3. The easiest and our favorite option, is to get our Top Grade Eucalyptus Oil Shower Spray and simply spray into the hot steam of your shower - or even into the warmth of any sauna or steam room. You'll not only enjoy the relaxation in your muscles, but you'll be breathing in the anti-inflammatory properties of the eucalyptus, along with every molecule of oxygen that enters your body.

Remember, the body has an amazing ability to heal itself when supported well through lifestyle and proper healthy habits. Pain in the body is also a sign of something else going on, so in addition to getting relief naturally, be sure to investigate the cause with your doctor or natural medicine practitioner.

Eurospa is dedicated to your health on the inside and out. As always, contact us with any questions as we want you on the road to body freedom as joyously as possible!
