Simple Tips to Staying Healthy During The Rest of the Holidays!

Simple Tips to Staying Healthy During The Rest of the Holidays!
The winter holidays are known for bouts of binging on the treats we look forward to all year. And it’s no wonder either. But then there’s the guilt that follows - and you end up regretting everything you enjoyed so much.
So what do you do? Skip out on the fun and festivities? No way. We love our sweets (obviously - we’re a bakery!) and we aren’t about to ask you to put them down. However, if you really want to enjoy them - make sure you’re balancing out all that sugar with some healthier practices.
  1. Drink a LOT of water. Water is cleansing and balancing. It helps to detox the extra sugar you’re consuming as well as dilute it so you don’t get that dreaded sugar hangover.
  2. Eat twice as many greens. Similar to water, greens detoxify and balance out your body. They are packed with minerals which are the opposite of sugar. So eat plenty of them and even better - grab a high quality green powder supplement.
  3. Drink less alcohol. Not saying you shouldn’t have a drink or two, but keep it at that. More than two drinks overwhelms your liver, dehydrates you and reduces your sleep quality.
  4. Sleep. Don’t skimp on the rest. It’s when you sleep that your body has the chance to detoxify what it’s been given. So either go to bed at a decent time, or make sure you’re able to sleep in the next morning.
  5. Detox Deeply. What goes in must come out. The best way to do this is through hydration and sweat. Water carries a ton of our toxins out of the body so make good use of it. Run a hot shower or sit in a sauna/steam room and breathe in the heat. For an even deeper detox, add a few sprays of our Eucalyptus Shower Mist into the steam and let it clean you out and relax you at the same time!
We want you to be healthy and also enjoy your life. There will always be many occasions in life that call for sweets and sugary delights. It’s just about finding balance. And then the benefits will come through for you!

At Eurospa, we are always here to make the quality of your life, even higher. Reach out for ordering or to ask further questions!

Gift the Gift of Happier Winter Skin for the Holidays!

Dry skin happens. It’s just part of winter. It’s even worse when you’re constantly going from inside heat to cold outside air.  It causes your skin to tighten and become severely dehydrated. It’s so uncomfortable, makes your skin crack and flake and it’s just downhill from there.  Nobody wants that. So why we want to share some tried and true natural fixes to help you save your skin this winter as well as how to pass the gift of healing on to others.

Exfoliate often. The more often you feel that tightening of your skin, the more often you should exfoliate. You can easily make your own scrub by mixing lemon juice and sugar and then gently massaging it into your skin. With a circular massage of the skin with this beauty scrub, rough spots on the face become even. The vitamins C in the lemons is a good astringent that lightens the skin tone, removes patches on the skin and encourages cell growth. Mix a teaspoon of sugar and mix it with juice of half a lemon, use cotton balls to scrub all over the face. Put a jar of it on your nightstand and apply it regularly. Want it less abrasive? Replace the sugar with baking soda.

Get into the steam. Moisturize efficiently. Get into a steam room or use a humidifier the most common rooms of your home. Humidifiers add a subtle moisture to the air, helping bring balance to your dry skin. We definitely recommend adding a few sprays of our eucalyptus oil shower spray to the room, the humidifier and also your steam room, sauna or shower.  Eucalyptus in the air will not only open up the bronchial passages for better respiratory health and to cleanse the skin! It's affordable, has a long list of health benefits and fits great as a stocking suffer!

Oils and creams. The right kind of moisture forms a protective layer on the skin keeping it safe by keeping it hydrated. Oils that are easily absorbed by the skin, such as coconut, jojoba and almond, tend to be better at keeping the real moisture in, allowing the skin the best nourishment possible. Coconut oil makes the skin feel softer and removes its previous scaly characteristic by moistening it in a natural way. Coconut oil has sufficient amounts of fatty acid that make up for any loss of moisture from the skin. It works best when left on for an entire night. Apply proper amount before going to sleep and wash it off in the morning; do this every night. Over the counter creams work well in the beginning but only leave a surface layer of hydration.

Drink up. No, not alcohol - that’s dehydrating! Drink more water and reduce your caffeine intake. Caffeine dehydrates the skin cells and causes inflammation. Drinking water does the opposite; calms the skin and nourishes the cells, causing you to adapt to the changing temperatures more easily and beautifully!

Eurospa is dedicated to health and we want everyone to know about it. Grab a bottle as a gift this year and make sure to grab one for yourself as well! Then see what other products we have to boost your health and quality of life!

http://www.hipsobriety.com/Christmas shopping has officially begun but that doesn’t mean you need to kill yourself getting your list checked off. We have the perfect gift idea for all the men out there, so you have one less person to worry about. Dad is always the hardest to shop for and as a result, he’s often saved for last. And since you know he’s probably got enough ties, fragrances and gift cards, how about giving him a gift that will help him feel, look and live younger?
Men are known for neglecting their health - not because they’re irresponsible or careless, but because they work hard and are tired and don’t need more to think about. That’s why this gift is perfect. It adds health, life quality and relaxation. We at Eurospa, have created our Eucalyptus Shower Mist for anyone that wants to feel and be more healthy - but we’ve noticed that men in particular, simply rave about it. It’s a way to stay healthy that they don’t have to eat, won’t smell like flowers and that keeps their mind and body energized and clear. Some ailments that it commonly relieves are arthritis, muscle pain, respiratory difficulties and hair and skin issues. The best way to reap the benefits is through steam inhalation.
Eucalyptus steam inhalation is recommended by some alternative practitioners for relieving nasal congestion and sinus congestion, usually from colds and flu. It can be done two to four times a day to relieve symptoms. If you're not able to do this, a steamy shower, vaporizer, or facial sauna is an alternative.
You simply run the hot water in your shower, close the windows and doors for full effect - and spray the mist once or twice into the steam. Breathe in deeply and let it do it’s work. He’ll be amazed at how refreshed, energized and lose his body will feel!

At Eurospa, we’re committed to providing you with the highest quality products possible. We are proud to offer the gift of health to you this holiday season and to save you the stress of deciding what to get your men for Christmas!

Dreading the Holidays? Here Are Some Tips to Help You Enjoy Them & Recover!

Dreading the Holidays? Here Are Some Tips to Help You Enjoy Them & Recover! Being around family isn’t easy. Some people love it, some people hate it and others just do it because they’re supposed to. If it’s a torture to you, we want to give you an idea for recovering from it that you’ll love. And if you’d like to enjoy it, we’ve got some tips to share there too.
Have a better holiday than the years before and come out feeling good about it. Here’s how:
Remember the truth: This time is temporary and this is your family. You didn’t choose them, but here they are. Love the good inside them and don’t waste your time arguing. You’re not likely to change anyone’s opinions so don’t bother. If they need to think or act differently that’s their own growth to go through. They’ll grow much faster if you sit back and love them.
Simple Conversation: Avoid talking about major issues, family grudges, politics and personal choices. Talk about simple things like music, the books you’re reading, family vacations or the latest movies. And if the complex topics arise, refer to the last point. Don’t waste your time trying to prove something to anyone. It’s always a dead end or painful experience.
Find Kindness: Look for ways to be kind. Compliment people. Listen carefully and attentively to the other person. (If you’re not bothering to argue or convince them of anything, this should be easy to do, and good practice for your communication skills!) Take it further and look for opportunities to tell people why you appreciate them and what you admire about them. This is sure to uplevel the mood in the air.
Recover: It’s no easy task handling family. When you’re done, you want to go home, fall on the couch and put your feet up. So do it. But upgrade the experience. All that effort and conversation (and avoiding arguments) can make you tense and tired. So make sure you have a couple bottles of Eurospa’s Eucalyptus Oil Shower Mist, because this will calm your muscles, nerves and mood down so fast. Run a hot shower and spritz a couple sprays into the steam. Get in and just stand there. Breathe. Aromatherapy at this level will work wonders for you. And when you’re done - relax. Put on a movie, read a book or go to bed. You’ve done well.
The holidays are a perfect time for us to be better people. It’s not easy and definitely takes practice, but you can do it. And when you’re done exercising this muscle, you get sweet relief.

From all of us at Eurospa, have a beautiful holiday.

Need a Serious Pick Me Up But Not Into Energy Drinks? Try This!

We are in a society where we have to be up early and late and go, go, go in between. Sure you need sleep, we both know that that’s the biggest solution. But in the meantime, you want to wake up, be alert and get going with your day and not feel jittery and gross from prescription drugs or chemical energy boosters. We know, and we have a solution. It’s so simple.

What you need: One bottle of 100% Pure, Eucalyptus Oil Shower Spray from Eurospa Aromatics. That’s all you need.

Need a Serious Pick Me Up But Not Into Energy Drinks? Try This! Here’s what you do with it. All you need to do is rub your hands together. The key is making sure to first spray a couple of shots of the eucalyptus shower spray onto your hands, and then rub them together for a few seconds very rapidly to create heat, energizing the oil. Now just bring the hands to your nose, and breath in.

The first time you do it, don't breath in too deeply. While the first breath can't hurt you, it sure might be a bit overwhelming. The exploding molecules of the essential oil will continue to provide natural stimulation while opening your sinuses, flood through your respiratory system, and opening your pores for a minute or so. Indulge as long as you like. Because this is an oil, not a scent, there is no residue, and in a few moments the delicious aroma will dissipate.  Feel free to take another hit as often as you like.

This is an incredibly efficient and effective way to wake up. You can do it multiple times throughout the day without messing with your sleep at night or your liver and adrenals for that matter. It’s so effective that you may need to hide the bottle at work, since everyone around you is likely to want their own pick me up.

When Eurospa Aromatics creates a product, we create to deliver results. And this is just another result you can count on. Get your own bottle today!

How to Get Rid of Headaches and Migraines Using Eucalyptus Oil!

How to Get Rid of Headaches and Migraines Using Eucalyptus Oil!As soon as the headache starts to make it’s way around your eyes and ears, you know you’re in for a battle, and the battle could knock you out all day. Not only do you want to have a dependency on strong pain killers, but your stomach can’t handle them. They’re harsh and toxic and can lead to serious illness. Instead, it’s important to treat the problem naturally as well as try to treat the root of the problem.
Migraines and headaches are most commonly the result of extreme tension in the neck, shoulders and back. They can also be the side effect of dietary or other allergic sensitivities and illnesses, so don’t rule those out if you haven’t already checked with your doctor. But since most are tension related, I want to share some ways to alleviate the pain quickly and naturally, as well as maintain your body to avoid more pain in the future.
First of all, remember that all the muscles, nerves and bones in your body are interconnected. If you’re having a headache on the left side of your head, it could be a result of tightness in the right hip, because the muscles cross over and intertwine all over the body. So when you start to feel a headache, begin to stretch from toe to head - yes, in that direction.
Start by standing tall and rolling your feet and ankles. Move to stretching your hamstrings and lower back by bending forward. Twist right and left a few times while bent over. Alternate arching your spine forward and outward and then roll back up into standing. From there, roll your shoulders backwards and stretch your arms up and out, while rotating your hands up, down, in and out. You should feel this in your forearms especially. Then move to your neck. First straighten your spine, imagining making your neck extra long. Once you’ve elongated your neck, lean it to the right, then to the left and then down with your chin to your chest.
From there, gently take your hand and add a little bit of pressure to your head in the direction of your stretch to take it a little further.
Take as much time as you need on each area of the body. Spend more time on areas that have more resistance or tension - but don’t force or strain anything.
To really get the most out of this, add a few sprays of our Eucalyptus Oil Shower Mist to your hot shower (with the bathroom door shut to trap the heat) or add it to a steam room or sauna, and then do the stretches. The heat will relax your muscles while the eucalyptus reduces the inflammation and increases circulation.
This method is incredibly beneficial and helpful. So if you are one that suffers from migraines, headaches, be sure to grab a bottle of Eucalyptus Oil Shower Mist and experience fast natural relief.

Natural Fast Relief to Kick Sudden Nausea and Stomach Upset!

Natural Fast Relief to Kick Sudden Nausea and Stomach Upset! You’re going throughout your day and everything is fine and then suddenly - you have a slight tinge of cramping and nausea hits! Then what? You’re left not knowing if you should get up and move, push past it or nurture it! Well we at Eurospa Aromatics have just the tips you can use to get natural fast relief for that sudden and annoying nausea.

First of all, make sure that it’s not dangerous. If your cramping is severe, localized or accompanied by any other strange or sudden symptoms, please do the right thing and see your doctor. This isn’t an area to play around with and you want to be safe.

But if what you feel is minor cramping and minor nausea, then there are some things you can do. In the case of minor situations, it’s usually due to a block in your intestinal system, a virus, a bacteria or even stress.

In the case of it being a block in your system, (or any of the above reasons for that matter), try a gentle yoga sequence for digestion. This one is very helpful. The key is not to push yourself, but to twist, cleanse, bring in oxygen and move things along.

For a virus or bacteria, it’s about remaining comfortable as you wait it out and help the toxins to leave your body efficiently. One way to do this is to take activated charcoal. Talk to your local supplement specialist, Chinese medicine/Ayurvedic/Natural Medicine Practitioner for amount and frequencies. But the way it works, is that the charcoal attaches to the poison and escorts it out of your body.

As for stress, you’d be surprised at how many stomach issues are related to stress. The key here is to get still and quiet as you breathe deeply, bringing more oxygen and calm to your digestive system and blood. Try to take at least 10 slow, medium to deep breathes, aiming to stay as relaxed as possible.

Thankfully, there’s also a way to bring comfort and relief to your body and symptoms regardless of why they are there. This is through eucalyptus, heat and cooling. Here’s how:

We have formulated a eucalyptus oil shower spray that penetrates the skin and circulate throughout the body in a matter of minutes simply using steam to do so. And if you're suffering from stomach ailments or nausea, this will come as a relief, as you likely can't handle anything orally anyway.

All you have to do, is run a hot bath or shower, and add a few sprays of our shower mist into the actual steam, or even onto the walls of your shower area. The little essential oil molecules with be activated and inhaled by you, quickly easing your pain and discomfort.  So simple and no gross syrups to drink either!

At Eurospa, we have been providing the finest quality of eucalyptus oil products to both homes and spas alike, for over 30 years. This means that you, too, can have the same high quality of eucalyptus oil that the 5-star hotels use right in the comfort of your home. If you're tired of using less than helpful products to feel better and are ready to experience true health and vitality, start with a powerful small step.

Get a bottle of Eucalyptus oil shower spray today. Your whole body will thank you. And in the meantime, try to rest and not stress. Stress will only make symptoms worse. Instead, trust in your body’s ability to do what it needs to do and support it along the way.

Natural Tips for Feel Great In Spite of Perimenopause

Natural Tips for Feel Great In Spite of Perimenopause
Natural Tips for Feel Great In Spite of PerimenopauseBeing a woman comes with a lifetime of interesting bodily changes that we have simply come to accept. But perimenopause is a middle ground, not-quite-here-or-there space that can be really uncomfortable and leave you frustrated at best. We at Eurospa, want to bring you some comforting tips for dealing with this hormone shift in a way that supports you and helps you feel good naturally.

Food for Hormones
The best medicine is preventative and the most preventative medicine is found in the  food that you eat. You should strive to eat a balance of good fats, complex carbohydrates and protein. Also, make sure to have plenty of fruits and vegetables at every meal, including breakfast. It’s best to eat three meals a day and two or more snacks in order to keep your blood sugar stable. The most important thing to remember is to reduce carbohydrates especially refined carbohydrates and sugars.

The Right kind of Greens.
If you haven’t added spirulina to your diet - this is the day to do it! This blue-green algae comes from lakes and ponds and contains large amounts of calcium, magnesium and potassium. These essential hormone-balancing nutrients will reduce cramps, mood problems, breast tenderness and overall inflammation.

Herbal helpers.
Herbs are miraculous because they share a similar molecular structure to our hormones, allowing them to support our hormone production by slowing them down or even copying what our own hormones do depending on the body’s unique needs. Some herbs that can help reduce menopause symptoms include st. john’s wort, black cohosh, passionflower, chasteberry, wild yam, ashwagandha and vitex. Vitex has been shown to help a myriad of PMS symptoms including irritability, depressed mood, anger, headache, bloating, breast fullness, skin disorder, fatigue, drowsiness and sleeplessness. Vitex is most effective taken as a tincture, but is also useful when included in medicinal herbal teas.

Get Moving Especially When You’re Feeling ‘OFF’.
Be active. Because of your fluctuating estrogen levels, your body will tend to hold on to fat. Additionally, fat actually produces estrogen, which can create even more fat. So it’s easy to get stuck in a frustrating cycle if you’re not active. Moving your body has a major impact on your weight, other menopausal symptoms and your overall health. Gentle exercise can be helpful too, especially if your adrenal glands are overworked and you constantly feel fatigued. Movement is also medicine so find a movement you enjoy and be consistent!

For the Hot Flashes
Keep the hot flashes at bay. Those up and down hormones cause you to feel out of nowhere, so be prepared! Be sure to drink a lot of water so the heat doesn’t tax your system. Also be sure to stock up on a eucalyptus shower mist, that you can either spray into the steam of the shower to invigorate you, or for you to spray around you as the hot flashes hit. Eucalyptus is cooling and calming; the perfect helper to this crazy season.

Maca
Maca is a tuber plant native to South America. It's an excellent superfood for hormonal imbalances like menopause and PMS. Maca is extremely high in calcium, potassium, iron, fiber and protein. Maca creates balance by regulating the hormones via the hypothalamus and pituitary glands in the brain. This can help with symptoms like hot flashes, low libido and PMS. Maca should not be consumed by women with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), as it may have a subtle androgenic (testosterone-boosting) effect.

You don’t have to suffer through the changes. Simply learn to support them. In the meantime, we are glad to be available to help in the process with our natural eucalyptus products for the home. For more info, contact us at Eurospa today!

Beat Muscle Pain & Tension the Fast & Natural Way With These Useful Tips

Beat Muscle Pain & Tension the Fast & Natural Way With These Useful TipsWhen you have muscle pain and tension, you need to handle it right away. One reason is because all that tightness can lead to other problems like spreading the pain to other muscles or even migraines. It’s common, when we feel the tension come on, to reach for the nearest pain pill we have. And while that does provide temporary relief, it doesn’t solve the problem and it does leave you with dangerous damage to your intestines, brain and stomach. So if you’d rather find a more natural and still effective alternative, try this method from us at Eurospa Aromatics, where healthy bodies are what we are committed to.

Hot & Cold Therapy

Many people wonder whether to use heat or cold to treat muscle soreness. Some people say to apply heat and others say that icing is best. We say go with both. But the only way for that to truly make sense - is that you have to understand what each temperature does for your body.

What does cold treatment do?

First, it numbs the local pain neurons, so the sense of relief is immediate. It also reduces the local tissue temperature, causing to to ease inflammation and swelling. This works through vasoconstriction, which causes the blood vessels to constrict, reducing the blood flow and release of inflammatory mediators into the site of injury. This is especially useful for serious tissue injury and muscle strains, as you will want to reduce swelling and inflammation. (If you get a shooting pain during or immediately after an exercise -you have a muscle strain). When you exercise, your blood vessels expand and stay that way for at least an hour afterward. Soreness occurs when lactic acid settles in your muscles through dilation of the vessels. However, using cold alone, isn't enough for the healing process. Too much cold will hinder the muscle's ability to relax.

What does heat do?

Heat relaxes the muscle, and thus contributes to faster relief of the soreness. Whether you are sore from a workout or are dealing with chronic pain, you still want to make sure you are keeping the muscle relaxed. When it comes to injuries, the muscle will be inflamed, so be sure to be using more cold than heat to make sure you don't add to the inflammation. How do you get both? The best way, in our opinion, is to regularly (once a week is preferred) go to a sauna or steam room, being sure to take breaks to stand in a cold shower or sit in an ice pool. Alternating hot and cold will reduce inflammation and induce muscle relaxation for deeper healing. Adding the healing benefits of essential oils, such as our eucalyptus oil spray, will add cooling to the cells while the heat of the sauna or steam room efficiently relaxes. If you can’t make it to these wellness places, you can mimic the environment by simply creating an enclosed hot shower, turning it to cold and then back to hot again for a few cycles. Have the shower hot enough to raise your body temperature, but not to burn you.

Eurospa is committed to your health and overall wellness.  We are happy to have provided you with natural solutions for muscle pain and healing. Get your own bottle of Eucalyptus Oil Shower Spray and start experiencing better health today!
