Coughs and Congestion, OH MY! Here’s How to Kick Them Fast and Naturally!

Coughs and Congestion, OH MY! Here’s How to Kick Them Fast and Naturally! It’s that time of the year when the winds start to shift and with that comes temperature changes, pollen, and germs all over. Half the time, you don’t know if you’re sick, or simply facing seasonal allergies, which leaves you unable to find just the right medicine for the job.
What you really need, is a solution that quickly breaks up the congestion in your sinuses and lungs, as well as helps you relieve the aches and pains that come with it. What you need is Eucalyptus oil.
Eucalyptus Oil is known for its expectorant, decongestant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral activity. A few studies have found that the Eucalyptol component in Eucalyptus Oil may help break up and clear mucus from the lungs. Research has also found that using Eucalyptus Oil for respiratory problems such as sinusitis, whooping cough, bronchitis, colds, and nasal congestion may help speed up the healing process.
A simple remedy for respiratory and sinus conditions is to inhale the powerful plant oils through heat and steam. Simply run a hot shower and add a few sprays of Eucalyptus mist to the steam, for a symptom relieving, spa style experience. You can also spray the mist mentioned around the house and inhale the Eucalyptus Oil vapors to help with congestion and to make breathing more comfortable.
If you have access to a steam room or sauna, even better. Just bring your little travel bottle with you and spray in for a luxury level of healing.

At Eurospa, your health is important to us. We’ve been supplying spas and homes with our high quality eucalyptus products for over 30 years. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us today!

Discover the Powerful Health Benefits of Menthol Crystals in the Comfort of Your Home!

Discover the Powerful Health Benefits of Menthol Crystals in the Comfort of Your Home! What if you could easily relieve the symptoms of bronchial congestion and muscle tension alike, in a natural and easy way, right in your own home? You’d likely think I was lying to you, but mostly - you’d want to know more.
Why? Because nobody likes to be plagued by ailments that slow us down and cause us to live life on a ‘lesser than’ level. The common frustrations like muscle stiffness, joint pain, respiratory pain or congestions not only slow us down, but they wear on us and bring our whole life quality down.
Everyone has experienced lung congestion one or multiple times. It's miserable and hard to breathe.  You deserve fast acting, natural relief that not only clears the congestion but heals you as well.
Regular lung cleansing may just be the answer to many respiratory problems. Since we’re always breathing, problems with the lungs can really slow us down - it's not something we can just easily ignore. Even the best medicines tend to only help on a temporary basis.  And when that help is over, you are left still needing to breathe, right? The beauty of this is that menthol crystals are a remedy you can use at home, that will provide symptomatic relief because the menthol reduces bronchial constriction and airway hyper responsiveness.
Menthol likely sounds familiar to you as the plant essence is often found in mouthwashes, toothpaste, balms, and many other products. It's the primary active ingredient in essential oil of peppermint that provides the familiar cooling sensation and minty odor and taste. Menthol crystals are produced by rapidly cooling the essential oil of eucalyptus and peppermint. They are very concentrated and if used properly, are very beneficial when used for lung cleansing in small amounts.

Menthol Crystals for Cough and Congestion Support

Lung cleansing products that contain menthol crystals can provide tremendous relief for symptoms of congestion, upper respiratory problems, sore throat and coughs. In fact, most lozenges, cough drops, and respiratory balms will list menthol as the chief ingredient. It’s no surprise, if you’re congested and start inhaling the scent of menthol crystals, you can almost feel the menthol vapors attacking and breaking up lung congestion. The cooling and soothing sensation can be very relieving.
Adding menthol crystals to hot water and inhaling the vapors can begin to soothe congestion and irritated nasal or throat passages. Before getting in the shower, try dissolving some menthol crystals in a little water and add a few drops to the shower walls. The steam will release the menthol and provide you with an invigorating shower that provides aroma therapeutic benefits.
Menthol crystals aren't just available in small amounts for you to use in the comfort of your home, they can be used in industrial amounts in spa's as well. So wether you are the owner of a spa, we would love to enhance the benefits your clientele enjoy's through these amazing menthol crystals! Just imagine infusing one of your darker steam rooms with menthol essential oils, as your clients' sinuses and lungs rapidly clear!
Your health and the health of your clients are our top priority.  At Eurospa, we promise top quality in all of our eucalyptus oil based products. We can't wait to hear from you, put in your order today!

Energize Your Morning With Essential Oils as Strong as Coffee!!

Not everyone is a morning person, but most people need to function in the morning for one reason or another.  With that in mind, let's make the most out of those morning blues with these 7 positive ways to create an energized and productive day!

1.  START THE NIGHT BEFORE
Everyone has personal weaknesses in their morning routine, so we want to reduce the confusion and chaos the night before.  For example, gather your clothes (yours and the kids) together and set them aside to save yourself the anxiety of staring into your closet and making those choices in your morning zombie mode.  Then, take some essential oil of lavender with a little coconut oil and massage into your feet.  The oil will be absorbed through your feet and travel to the rest of your body, aiding in added relaxation.

wake up and start your day feeling rejuvenated and refreshed with menthol crystals from Eurospa Aromatics.2. BE THE SUNSHINE IN YOUR own DAY
The sun is going to rise regardless of what side of the bed you choose to wake up on.  And, yes I said "choose".  I know you might be tired (maybe go to bed earlier?) or dreading the day ahead but only you can decide how you feel about your day and whether your fears or frustrations will rule you. When you wake up - just smile.  Even if you feel stupid and inauthentic, smile anyway and keep it there.  While (possibly staging) you grin, think of everything you love and are thankful for.  Life can be crazy but it doesn't mean YOU have to be.  So make a different choice.  You be the sunshine!

3. PRAYER and STILLNESS
Find a quiet place in your home (especially helpful for parents) that's free from distraction, but not in your bed.  Turn on some relaxing music, read or just sit in the stillness. Take one, then two, then ten deep breaths.   This is your opportunity to set your daily intention for a peaceful and productive day.

4. GET MOVING
It's common knowledge that physical activity is important for both your mind and body, but it can be really difficult to find the time to fit it in to our busy schedules.  If you can go for a run or stop by the gym first thing in the morning, great!  If not, make a plan to implement a small routine into your morning so you at least set a pattern and habit to care for your mind and body which will in turn, not only set up your day with energy but also the rest of your life.

5. WAKE UP WITH WATER
Inside and out is best! Make sure to drink a glass of water, as the hydration really does wake up your cells and start your day with a metabolic cleansing.  Then head to the shower.  Turn up the heat and let your muscles both relax and rejuvenate! Add menthol crystals to the shower steam as well to further awaken and even reap the health benefits!  Menthol crystals open up your bronchial passage ways, allowing you do breathe deeper  and get more oxygen to your brain. More oxygen to the brain means more clarity and mental peace.  These crystals will add a great vibrance to your day!

6.  BODY FUEL
Some people are morning eaters and some are not.  Meet with a nutritionist or do some research and try to hone in on what your particular body type is.  Some people are the hot tea and toast type and others are the full spread of fruit, bacon and eggs.  Whatever feels best and fuels you for the next couple of hours should be considered your energy spark for the day and committed to. When you take time to eat a balanced meal, you are giving your body the fuel it needs for everything else.   Chinese medicine states that the morning meal is the fuel your body pulls from most, the rest of the day. Only the oiled machine can truly perform!

Eucalyptus: The Remedy Your Cough Is Begging For!

I don't know about you, but I have seen far to many coughs and respiratory infections these days and it's time we start talking about ways to cure this beast at home - and FAST.

The cold season can be feisty one, wreaking havoc in homes all over. Now that spring is upon us, it is important, more than ever to nip this thing in the bud, so we all can go back to enjoying the return of the sunshine!

First of all - let's talk immune boosters.  Those pesky germs are likely to come around regardless, so it's best to remain prepared and ready to fight them off at all costs!

  • Up Your Greens!  Now, I understand that many people may wince at the very thought of this, but I'm here to say, "It's time to overcome your aversion!" Green foods have the highest amount of balanced proteins, vitamins and minerals of our diet.  Our white blood cells require their nutrients to function properly.
  • Hydrate! It's really hard for you to have too much water.  Every one of your cells require it and all of your organs as well.  More water means the viruses are more quickly and efficiently carried out of the body.
  • Sleep! Get enough of it.  Only you know how much you need.  Some people need 8 hours and others need less.  The point is to do what's best for your body.  What's best may not be convenient, but it sure is more convenient that being sick for two weeks.

If you're unlucky enough to have that viral visitor drop by, here are some safe and natural ways to get you feeling healthy again.

Coughs:  First of all, there are two main categories of herbs that are used in DIY home cough remedies: antitussives, meant for clearing the lungs of congestion and make coughing more productive and expectorants, meant for those dry, hacking cough to calm the reflex and act as a mild sedative.

I found this great recipe for herbal cough syrup from wellnessmama! (not affiliated, just passing on the pearls of wisdom)

*Homemade herbal cough syrup that soothes the throat to ease coughing and promote restful sleep.
Author:
Recipe type: Remedy
Serves: 8+
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Pour the water into a medium saucepan and add the dried herbs.
  2. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  3. Simmer until the volume is reduced by about half. (You will need 1 cup of liquid after herbs are strained off)
  4. Pour through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove herbs (compost the herbs!).
  5. While liquid is still warm (not boiling) mix with lemon juice and honey and stir well.
  6. Store in airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 months.
Notes
I give 1 teaspoon to children and 1 tablespoon to adults as needed for symptoms.*

GET IT OUT!  Check out our own Eucalyptus Shower Mist and spray it into every room and as a cleaning solution for door handles to kill the active invader.   What's even better, is that you can spray it into the steam of your shower for a vaporizing effect!

We just want you to feel better and hope that you found this helpful!

We'd love to hear from YOU!  What do you do to conquer the cough?  Please let us know in the comments below!
